The use of AI for blogging is on the rise, unfortunately, it also has led to a rise in reader skepticism. As a blogger, your ideal readers have grown accustomed to your voice and know to trust it. While AI tools for blogging are definitely there to be utilized, they cannot be a replacement for you. Your readers will recognize the difference in your writing voice and begin to fall off if you are not strategic about how you use AI for blogging!
AI for Blogging: The Most Cost-Effective Editor
AI will occasionally mess up things like writer perspective, or facts and statistics found through skimming search engines. However, it will not mess up grammar generally. There still needs to be a human element of proofreading (this should come after editing) to ensure that you haven’t changed a statement to a question or something similar, but I never publish a blog without first running it through Grammarly premium. If you use my link you can get a month of premium for free!
AI tools for Blogging: Increase Keyword Density Naturally
When I am having trouble naturally fitting in my keywords for SEO, I use ChatGPT to help me find places to fit them in! I know there are other writing-focused AI Tools, but many of them actually run off of Open AI; when I’ve used them to compare, I still prefer ChatGPT. If I were using AI for Blogging to write entire posts, a different option might be better, but then I would be compromising ideal reader trust.
When I am struggling with keyword density I will enter the prompt in the image below or a variation of it.
AI tools for Blogging: Add Headings and Subheadings
If you are focusing on SEO, which you should be if you are hoping to monetize your blog. You know that a website with high-readability and SEO scores will have headings and subheadings to break up text. However, certain blog posts can make it hard to come up with relevant headings and subheadings that still utilize your keywords appropriately. ChatGPT is an amazing formatting tool! ChatGPT premium subscription because time is money and it saves me significant time on formatting my writing.
If I am struggling with formatting, I have entered text as long as 1500 words and had AI help me reformat it using a variation of the prompt in the image below. This feature alone has more than paid for my ChatGPT premium subscription because time is money and it saves me significant time on formatting my writing.
AI for Blog Outline Generation: Save Time Planning
If you already have your blog names and topics planned out, using an outline can speed up your writing process. Of course, I use chatGPT for this as well. I want to note that unsuccessful AI for blogging or other writing endeavors usually is due to poor prompting. The amount of text you can enter is significant and AI needs practically no time to think. You can inundate it with clear, detailed information and you will get better results than vague instructions will give you. Once again, utilizing this blog post as an example (although I did not use ChatGPT in the process of writing this blog!) I would enter the below prompt:
I also want to share part of the response I was given so you can see what a helpful tool this is!
AI for Blogging: A Hidden Goldmine for Affiliates
ChatGPT Affiliate Program Finder is a new tool that still has a lot of hiccups with its integrations. However, using this tool, you can search for and find a direct link to the affiliate program you are looking for! I know a simple Google or Bing search should yield the same results, but in my experience, some of the larger brands actually hide their affiliate programs from search engine results and it can take awhile to find them directly on their website. Even if you are not a blogger, but do affiliate marketing, this one tool could really simplify affiliate or even UGC acquisitions by taking you directly to the landing page with relevant contact information or forms you need to apply!
Of course, if you are in affiliate marketing and don’t own your own website, creating one has huge benefits. It will improve visibility on Pinterest and Google, which can’t be done from simple Stan store links, or link trees (because you won’t be verified as owning those.) I would suggest you read the first part of my series on creating a blog.
